Four Noble Truths
[ send me this paper ]
Buddhism has spread throughout the world and, like many religions, has been moderated to fit the needs and histories of the particular people for whom the lessons of the Buddha are to be heard. However it may change, there are fundamental principles that have remained as the foundation of the Buddhist philosophy. The Four Noble Truths are often referred to as the Four Certainties but the truths taught by the original Buddha continue within each interpretation. This 9 page paper explores the meaning of the Four Noble Truths as it pertains to the individual. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
