EU Convention 2003: New Treaty
[ send me this paper ]
8 pages in length. Still a work in progress after several revisions of fundamental principles, the European Convention of 2003 continues to strike a balance between the history of a handful of countries that have enjoyed a "century-old constitutional continuity" (Koeck, 2002) and attempting to incorporate a newer, more diverse approach with those nations working toward making the EU a unified entity. Exploitation of the Latino Population in the Food Industry
[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page paper which
discusses how the Latino population is treated in the food industry in this country. The
information obtainable indicates that there is no solid proof of the exploitation of the
Latino population in the food industry today. That, however, perhaps only indicates that in
larger areas, or areas where Latinos know their legal rights, and places of employment that
are large companies, such as McDonalds and Denny's, the Latino population is not
exploited, but that such may well be the case in smaller areas where the Latino population
is not large, or where the establishment is small and privately owned. Bibliography lists 4
sources.
