Evolution & Integration Of Management Schools Of Thought
[ send me this paper ]
7 pages in length. Workers normally respond in kind to a corporate philosophy of doing the best they can within the limits of sound business practice for their employees. Rather than snatching all they can for the least amount of effort, they will respond within the proper corporate climate. TQM does not exist for the purpose of supplying middle managers with more raw material with which to lay out charts, graphs and flow sheets. It can be a valuable tool, if management will use it for its intended purposes and resist the urge to promote it merely as justification for their own continued employment as chart-makers. Bibliography lists even sources.

Examinging Microsoft in Terms of Theory
[ send me this paper ]
A 10 page paper providing a history of Microsoft's product development and dogged adherence to products clearly not accepted in the marketplace. Though Microsoft's products carried no particular popularity with customers, they generally represented the less of several evils available. The company clung to Windows and Explorer long after it should have abandoned them in terms of useability, but there were few other comparable products available and Microsoft was the only publisher dedicated to its product enough to allow it to persist beyond what appeared to be its pinnacle. Others were not so committed, and still others were not able to give away their nonselling products as Microsoft was. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
